An earthy palette meets futuristic running construction on the Asics Gel-NYC 2.0 Cocoa Powder Brown Storm 1203A895-200. This version combines different shades of brown, taupe, gray, and beige with a technical silhouette rich in layering, creating a sneaker that is both retro-running and contemporary.
The GEL-NYC 2.0 evolves the GEL-NYC concept with a new construction inspired by ASICS running archives. Its upper draws in particular from the GEL-1050 released in 2000, with a mesh architecture structured by numerous overlays. Suede overlays enhance the textured and more sophisticated character of this version.
On the S1203A895-200, the Cocoa Powder / Brown Storm colorway plays with several shades of brown rather than a sharp contrast. Brown suede frames a darker mesh base, while gray and light beige elements highlight the ASICS Stripes and the various lines of the upper. The cream midsole balances the overall design and reinforces the palette’s natural feel.
