Dark, technical, and easy to wear, the Asics GEL-NYC 2.0 Black Graphite Grey 1203A895-001 presents the new generation of the GEL-NYC in a palette dominated by black and charcoal grey. Its blend of mesh, suede, and contrasting panels highlights the silhouette's complex construction without relying on bright colors.

The GEL-NYC 2.0 draws from ASICS's running archives while incorporating more contemporary technologies. Its upper is notably inspired by the GEL-1050 launched in 2000, carrying over its technical spirit and numerous layers. Suede overlays modernize this architecture and add more texture to the shoe.

On reference 1203A895-001, the Black / Graphite Grey colorway plays with different shades of grey. Black mesh forms a dark base, surrounded by charcoal grey suede panels and lighter grey elements. The ASICS Stripes likewise combine several mineral shades, creating a subtle contrast at the center of the sneaker.

The GEL-NYC 2.0's sole combines several technologies drawn from ASICS's running expertise. GEL™ inserts in the forefoot and heel help absorb shock, while FF BLAST™ PLUS foam has been adapted for everyday use to provide a softer, lighter, and more responsive feel.

A TPU TRUSSTIC™ unit completes the construction to enhance stability around the midfoot. ASICS has also worked on the flex grooves and the transition between the heel and forefoot to support a more natural movement while walking.

The Black Graphite Grey has a more monochromatic identity than the other GEL-NYC 2.0 models.
